I don't have Strava premium, so not sure I can download that route. DO you have it as a Garmin Connect or RideWith GPS version?

It appears you are correct Doug. I just found this work-around: http://www.mbtom.co.uk/how-to-download-strava-gpx/
I haven't tried it, so I don't know if it works. Not that it matters in this instance as I've shared the route on my OneDrive.

Oh, and don't be a cheapskate and get a premium account
