Club Meeting Paceline Ride Wed. 8/15 6pm

I've wanted to do a paceline training ride for a while. This will be an old-school training ride and we will practice a few concepts that I've noticed are lacking a bit in the club since Smudger's retirement...ummm....switch to MTB. This will not be a smashmouth training ride, it will be a solid steady paceline effort:

1) Single-file pacelining on busier roads
2) Double rotating paceline on the quieter roads
3) NO-DROP of any kind
4) Concentration on safely riding on the shoulder not in the middle of the road (ok Smudger never taught that)

If we don't have enough people then we can do our regular smash everyone in the face and leave them for dead (I'll be one of the dead ones but I know a lot of short cuts)

Fun ride guys. Looking forward to more like it, although having Robbie and Rees kick my face in on Wednesdays up Oak Hill is also fun. I can't decide what I like better!
