To make it easier to pick out MRC riders from others, switch to the Elite Jersey. Do this by:
press 'P' on keyboard, then type GOELITE and it will say you've unlocked the elite jersey and your avatar will get kitted up automatically.
Join the Minuteman Road Club for their Friday morning ride. Should take about 1 hour.
2 Laps of the London Loop (including box hill). That's 9.2 miles/loop.
We’ll pace the first lap and a half, going a little harder on Box hill but otherwise maintaining a reasonable group pace.
The most important rule is that you are behind the ride leader’s beacon when we cross the Box Hill KOM start line on Lap 2.
After that it’s a flat out race to the finish line.
Here is how the leader will pace the ride up until then:
2.5 W/kg from the start to the Box Hill KOM start line
3.5 w/KG the first time up Box Hill (around 8:45 for the segment)
3.0 W/kg from the Box Hill KOM Banner to the Box Hill KOM start line
4+ W/kg from Box Hill KOM start line to the finish line.
On the 2nd lap, everyone should be behind the leader until we cross the line marking the start of the Box Hill segment.
Then hammer time from the bottom of Box Hill to the finish line (around 5 miles)
Check out the strava segment: "box hill start to the finish line” to get a sense of the run in to the finish.

In for the first 45 minutes -- have to be off the bike @ 7am for chauffeur service.

Having technical difficulties. Zwift is reading my power at a fraction of what my bike computer says. I can't hit 200 watts without spriting according to zwift
Re: zwift vFMR London 12/22/17
Turns out zwift currently doesn't support the assioma power meters with bluetooth. So i'll have to get a dongle.
Re: zwift vFMR London 12/22/17
Great ride today. Wish i could have finished the last couple miles, but I had a hard stop at 7:05. I was on Discord and could hear everyone talking and breathing. I've not yet figured out how to work a microphone into the mix as my laptop is about 8 feet from my trainer. I run an 8 ft HDMI connection from my AV receiver to the laptop. To move the laptop to the right location i'd probably need a 20+ ft cord. I may buy one, but still checking into alternatives on the mic. Maybe run Discord via phone?

Ah, too bad. At least it's a relatively inexpensive fix. Those pedals were highly rated, but now Garmin has the Vector 3 out -- which also reviewed very well and looks like a normal pedal.

I just bought a second dongle in a desperate attempt to fix my ANT+ dropouts. It didn't (nor did I expect it to - but I was desperate), so I have 2 now.
Interested in one that has only been used for one ride?
Re: zwift vFMR London 12/22/17
The Zwift Mobile Link supports BLE (as does Zwift on the iPad IINM). It's coming to the PC app in the future. So you can pair the Assioma with the Mobile Link then in the pairing setup in the app you should be able to choose the Assioma. I was pairing my KICKR via BLE like this recently before I had a power meter on the bike.

I believe that's what most are doing Don. I used to run Discord on my laptop but recently switched to the phone app.

Re: zwift vFMR London 12/22/17
Yes I'd buy the extra dongle!
Kevin- I was using the Zwift mobile link for bluetooth. That wasn't the issue, zwift just doesn't support the assioma's via bluetooth yet.
