Also, there was a lot of traffic to navigate. The Carlisle turnaround cost me time because cars were having to wait to pass slower moving cyclists. But mainly, I need to get more aero with my position. Watts were there for under 24minutes. I suppose though, rules don't say e-bikes aren't allowed... 24:15. https://www.strava.com/activities/3352896005

Also, turns out this was the tour de Boston day for the CBTT, too, and I don't feel bad about 7/51 today. Tate rocked 21:17, but Mr. Luttick I believe earned some beer...
I count 4 excuses cleverly rolled into this ride report 😜

I tried to do better today but wasn't feeling it. About the same as my last time. (24:33 this time, 24:28 last time).

Today is probably the last day weather-wise. Does anyone have what it takes?

I'm done for April, but yes, it looks like a good day for challenger.

I’m planning to have a go next week. It’s past the expiration date but of course my prize will be beating Cratty’s time regardless of the physical prize.

Can I collect kombucha for the previous 2 years next time I’m back?

Higher wattage today but foiled by the wind. Not a complete failure and I am satisfied with today’s effort.

OK, the results are in.  The winners are (actually, anyone who did it is a winner).... drum roll please....

Under 45 category:
Rees Madsen
AJ Piper

Over 45 category:
Ben Koyle
DJ Skinnyphat

Now I had to overrule the judges as some of them cried foul over riders not putting MRCCOVID-19TT in their ride title.   But I decided to let it go... this time.

And special announcement:  the judges have ruled that Eric Boos is also a winner!   Eric deserves something for making the most attempts!

Beer or kombucha for each of the five of you!
* The beer has to be Wachusett.  Make your choice... I may drive to the brewery so assume that all the options in their "Buy Online" menu are available.  It has to have a 6 pack option for me to pick it up.  https://wachusettbrewing.smartonlineorder.com/ It would be ironic if you chose the "Stick Figure" IPA for all us skinny cyclists, but the coconut actually sounds disgusting.
* For kombucha (or you could choose a different non-alcoholic beverage) - My family normally gets the GTs brand and the Gingerade flavor.  I would get you a 4 pack. But let me know your other option. It has to be something I can actually FIND without driving to 5 stores.

I have no idea how I will get it to a few of you... Jeremy is easy. AJ: I will drop it off the next time I visit my parents.  Rees: I am sure we can arrange something.  Ben: I have no idea where you live.  Eric: I know you are far so maybe the next time you come my way (Acton).   But we will figure that out.   Email me at jraguin AT gmail DOT com.
