It was a beautiful day for the first local sprint race of the year. Steve Kimball, Jen Goff, Dean McNabb and I went out to Ludlow to race. Short story is that Steve took 1st in his division and fourth overall. I took 3rd in the same division and 11th overall. Jen took 1st in her division and 31 overall, and Dean took 1st in his division and 59th overall.
A great showing for MRC and a good start to the season.

NIce job. I don't care what they say, you Tri-people are alright!
Re: Ludlow Tri
Wow!! I thought triathlons were a summer sport?!? How can you guys / gals swim in this... what was the temp of the water? I was concerned on the drive to my race about how cold it was (39 at spots in Concord)... now I feel like a wimp! Great job everyone!
Re: Ludlow Tri

Some additional news... This was a big race for Jen. She qualified for Nationals with her win.
Re: Ludlow Tri
Congrats Jen! Qualifying for Nationals in any sport is always an honor!

Thanks Steve and John...
However, the ever-so-humble Kimble forgot to mention that HE qualified too!
