FMR long 7/3 **7am**
FMR long 7/3 **7am**
FMR, longer route!
We have enough people who are in for the longer route.
https://www.strava.com/routes/2713787450572186040
1. The ride will have no more than 10 people, which means if we get more than that we will split up into groups, mostly likely A and B (or more if necessary). I'd like to keep the groups between 6-8. Please listen to the ride captain for instructions (which will be me)
2. You must post up here, no lurking and don't invite people "off-board"
3. You must be an active MRC member to participate in these phase-2 rides so we can take extra precautions
4. Take the obvious step of excluding yourself if any of these pertain to you:
a) You have these symptoms: Cough OR at least TWO of these symptoms: Shortness of breath, Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell, Vomiting, Diarrhea
b) You've had contact with a person with Covid-19
c) You've traveled on a plane in the last 2 weeks
Remember to post up here and make sure your membership is active. Also remember you are responsible for your own choices and actions, and you must decide what is right for you.

Re: FMR long 7/3 6:30am
Here is my suggested route. 4 good climbs with a flatter start and a flatter finish.

I'm in.
One comment on the route is that it might be better to stay straight onto Chapin instead of left onto River Rd.. I think there are a lot of potholes in that section of road. So straight onto Chapin/Pleasant, then left onto W. Hill then Berlin/Robbin Hill. Puts us on Hudson and back to Aero.
Just a thought . . . I do like Belleview / Newton Rd though
Oh, is it allowed to go DOWN Ball Hill / Barnes Hill on the FMR?

Made the change, but still included a loop at the end that does Belleview / Newton Rd.KTeves wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 11:23 am I'm in.

Will check if I can. I'll be lantern rouge, if, I wake up and aren't in pain, and I get permission to come in late tomorrow. I'm going optimistic with 51% chance in.

I missed my weekly butt whoopin' on Wednesday, so I'm in.
Re: FMR long 7/3 6:30am
I got a request to start the ride at 7 since we all have the day off. I second the motion.

I need to do a systems check in the AM but for sure 7 is better than 6:30
