Saturday 8:45am long ride
Saturday 8:45am long ride
Looking to take advantage of the warm temps. Well curated loop on great roads. No drop, but there will be some spice and diligent regrouping on the climbs. My New Years resolution is to get better at regrouping. For real.

I didn't want to call it that Rees, but yes that's the route. Brian you'll be fine, I really do intend to manage the group with the exception of 5 or 6 "segments" where we will do a full deliberate regroup.
Final stats will be:
Avg power 181
NP 232
Avg speed 18.2

Re: Saturday 8:45am long ride
I'm most likely in, but 2 things:
1) I do want a hard workout, so is it ok to smash these segments?
2) No chance for a later start to get the warmer temps (and more sleep)?

Re: Saturday 8:45am long ride
Oh, definitely interested. Gotta double check on one possible conflict but don't think it will be an issue.
Pare - what are the overall road conditions like down your way? Probably different than Woostah way as we still have a bit of snowpack and melting (and salt)
Brian, here's last year's ride. Think you can get an idea of where things got bit "spicier" (last year it was Robbie's fault, this year we can blame Rees) - https://www.strava.com/activities/2122364332
Geez, in looking at weather underground, it may already be mid 50's by 9AM. Does that count as later Jeremy?

Re: Saturday 8:45am long ride
Yes it should be plenty warm by the time we roll out. I put 8:45 knowing that 9 was the target
Smash away on the segments, I’ll be sure to call them out.
Tower Hill Rd mile 15
Cullen Hill Rd mile 25
Wilbur Rd / Wall mile 27
Capron Rd mile 31
Mann School Rd mile 33
Hill Rd mile 44
That should do. Quick refuel in Harrisville mile 43
The last hour we’ll just roll tempo as most of the biggin’s are front loaded in the ride

Jealous! Wish I could join
Re: Saturday 8:45am long ride
Clarifying a couple Q’s
The clip in / roll out time is officially 9am thanks to President Sleepsalot. Not 9:01 though.
The roads by me are dry as a bone and largely salt free

I’m in.
Quick question: Chris, looks like the start is at near your house. OK to park on the neighborhood street?
