FMR 6:15 AM Lala Java

Post by Fintan »

Looks like a sunny & mild morning. Perfect for a long hard FMR. I'll go with the consensus route/pace/start time.
The trick, William Potter, is not minding that it hurts.

In.

Any interest in incorporating the newly-paved Green St. downhill into the route? Chris P. commented so when I mentioned it on Strava.

Maybe this: https://www.strava.com/routes/21406227?

* I'd like to just add that I'm almost hesitant to suggest this as I don't want people to risk life and limb bombing down Green St. now that it's been repaved (Ahem . . . Cratty).

Probable.
Don't wait for me. I'll be early or not at all.

I'm glad someone got out what we were all thinking

Also, I have not been down the fresh pavement on green, but when they did some smooth over just prior, a good midway down there was a pretty deep storm drain off that cuts into the road a pretty good ways and could easily be lost in the shadows. If for some reason you are riding beside someone or hugging the side, beware

Good luck tomorrow Mike. No pressure but we fully expect you to crush those poor cat 4/5 35+ souls and come home a cat 3
