Franklinkill Sunday 10am
Franklinkill Sunday 10am
Apologies in advance for ride clashing with Grafton but I am planning on a 3 to 3.5 hour ride down into Rhode Island on Sunday at 10am. The loop is affectionately known as Franklinkil because we used to use it as prep for Battenkill and has lots of similar hills. It’s around 58 miles. Planning on “February pace” which is faster than January endurance pace but slower than March race prep pace. The hills and distance add up.

Lurking to hopeful and will confirm this evening. Same plan (ie, meet at your place) and route as last year? Are there burritos after? Will Patrick ride to and from? So many questions.

I can’t answer the Patrick question but yes meet at my place, a slightly “improved” route, and of course burritos.
I’ll post the route later today and if anyone needs start location PM me.

Re: Franklinkill Sunday 10am
Last year I rode from my place to Busick's then from there to the start. That was a mistake . I bonked. The pace was a tad more than 'February pace,' and that was one hilly route.

Lurking, dependent on family stuff. For the Franklinkill uninitiated, where does the ride start?

Emailed you my address Dave

I went back and looked and that ride was 1/27/18 so still “January pace”
I’m kidding, that was a good one
Re: Franklinkill Sunday 10am
Kevin did bonk hard on that one. Thought we were going to have to leave him at the smoke shop

Tom dropped bombs on last year’s ride. Kevin dropped f’bombs on the way back.
