Saturday Ride Out of Concord 8:00am
Anyone interested in a 50mi ride @ 18mph @ 8:00am out of Concord on Saturday? (Middlesex School Athletic Parking Lot)? I am not sure of the route, but I was thinking of heading toward Stow/Harvard.

I am thinking of heading out of the South Acton MBTA lot for the Cycle for Sight 75 mile route if that suits. The route first heads south to through Sudbury, then Weston, Waltham, Lexington, Lincoln, Concord, Carlisle, North Acton, Littleton, Harvard, Stow and back to South Acton. Hills are at the end. Easy 17-18 mph pace but an earlier start, maybe 6:30 or 7:00 am.

Unfortunately, I cannot start any earlier because I need to drop off my son at Middlesex for 8:00am and I need to be back home by 11:00am.
Do you have a pointer to the map of the route because it shoulds interesting. I would do a portion of it.

One day I have to put the route up on the web (or cue sheet that no one ever uses). Anyway Mark Longwell killed me and I ended up with 90 miles, not the 75 I had intended. A littel early in the season for me but it was a beautiful ride and now I'll rest for a bit after putting in 260 miles this past week.
