Goguens taking bikes to nationals?

I'm currently unemployed, and after many people asking and bantering with my family, I've decided to make the trip if there is enough interest to make it worth while. let me know what you think, besides that I'm crazy to even do the trip, but my kids want to race nationals and this is the only way to possibly do it. Unfortunately I have the time right now. The big change is no trailer, I would take a truck instead due to the severity of the route, I would like to minimize any potential problems, so the only real difference is no heated trailer on site. I would take one bike , one spare set of wheels in a labeled wheel bag, and a small bag (small!), for $350 round trip arriving late wednesday, so could be an issue for thursday racers who maybe want to ride the course on wednesday. I can't find a way around the arrival time unless people wanted to skip the last verge race which didn't seem to make sense. Give me some feed back and spread the word.
