Saturday Bullet train hard ride 9:30am - we're on!!!!
Official start time: 9:30am my house. Seven Peabody Dr
Putting out a feeler for a hard training ride. Meet at 9am at my house in Stow, ride to Concord, do the bullettrain as a hard paceline ride, then back 45-50 miles or we could tack on some endurance at the end.
I'd call it a "no drop" but "expect to suffer" ride so if you are just starting your training then it's not the ride for you.
We would need at least 4-5 people. Also people could meet in Concord at 10.
Need quick responses to confirm.

Re: Saturday Bullet train hard ride 9am feeler
In, though I would be more interested in a slightly later start.
Re: Saturday Bullet train hard ride 9am feeler
In. Good excuse to not head out in the rain today.
The trick, William Potter, is not minding that it hurts.
Re: Saturday Bullet train hard ride 9am feeler
If we have enough. Rees can pull the whole time. Would still equal suffering for me.
Re: Saturday Bullet train hard ride 9am feeler
In. Will meet you in route as you go through Acton on South Acton Road to the intersection with Route 27 next to the South Acton train station. I assume you are riding through West Concord Center.
Re: Saturday Bullet train hard ride 9am feeler
KOM segment target to make it interesting?

Re: Saturday Bullet train hard ride 9am feeler
A hard, flat'ish ride seems quite my style but I will have to pass. Race on Sunday.

Lurking. If I show I will have the route loaded and be prepared to get dropped. I know how these "no drop" rides work .

I am in no condition to join in anything titled "bullet train" I'm still trying to recover 20w I lost just from a week off in Puerto Rico 3 weeks ago.
Re: Saturday Bullet train hard ride 9:30am - we're on!!!!
we should make sure we all have the same route. I recall last year the official bullet train route changed slightly. I'm not even sure which one I have

This is the BT segment. I'll try to create a full route from my house tonight

Are we getting a coffee at Starbucks in CC or just rolling to the end? (happy to buy everyone coffee in Acton at the Acton Coffeehouse).
Re: Saturday Bullet train hard ride 9:30am - we're on!!!!
I like coffee, so my vote is yes. Don't care where.

In joining in South Acton with the Pirate and definitely in for A cuppa at West Acton Coffee House on way home.
Anyone lurking and concerned about getting dropped you now have a wheel to follow

Please refrain from snot rockets unless pulling up the rear of the paceline . But seriously, for real...
