FMR - 8/2, 6:15 (6:30 ?) AM Lala Java

Post by KTeves »

Going to be a perfect morning for the FMR 🌞 🙂. Long route, standard route or something different—what's your pleasure? Thought I'd split the difference with the start time, but could be convinced to go 6:30 if preferred by the majority.

Who's in? (chime-in as to start, route preference)

FYI: Best as I can tell the new coffee shop is not going to open until the Fall.

In. My preference would either be new roads or the long route.

innish. i have to ride to work after so depending on what you guys do i might break of early, have time for tea, or just have to skip the whole thing. I'd prefer the 6:15 start though

In. I will ride to work after, too, but still prefer long route. 615 is good if we do the long

So let's go with a 6:15 start and either the FMR - Long or this alternate: https://www.strava.com/routes/20724099

Take a look at the alternate and we'll decide which by show of hands in the morning. It's just about 1.5 KM shorter than the FMR - Long, but it's 'lumpy.' FMR is no-drop (regroup after hills), but probably a good idea to put the alternate on your GPS JIC.

That looks like a good alternative. Unfortunately I'm out. I have to get to work earlier than I originally thought. The joy of catching back up after a vacation.
