FMR Friday 3/28 6:30

Post by cbusick »

Sunrise is 6:38, so I'm going with 6:30 at Tazza D'oro at 35 Solomon Pond Rd, Northborough.
It's early in the year for the FMR, but in case this weekend rains out I wanted to ride on Friday.

PSA - I drive some of the roads on the way to the office daily. The usual spots are still covered in sand, Smudgers Corner and the whole length of Crosby Rd. Just FYI

Chris - thanks for posting!

I've also been on some of the roads. Going down Green and Ball Hill isn't *too* bad, but will need to pay proper attention.

Good call. IN.

Being the nice guy that I am, I may even drive over so as to delivery kit items to those who say they'll be there. If you are expecting kit, please specify if you're riding or driving over.

I'll be driving over. Was about to ask if I could stop by at your place after to pick up kit, but delivery to coffee shop is obviously better. Thanks Doug.

In. Can't wait to try out my new long sleeve winter jersey (not really). May I suggest a hard clip at 6:30 (hint hint)?

Pare, I don't know who your hint is aimed at in particular, but in case there's anyone unfamiliar with this ride, 6:30 means the ride starts at 6:30, not, arrive at 6:30 and spend 15 minutes putting air in your tires, finding your shoes, etc. Some of us have to get to work. It's recommended to put air in to your tires now to save time tomorrow morning.

We'll roll out at 6:30.

What's a FMR? I'm guessing Friday Minuteman Ride?

That works but it is actually "Friday Morning Ride" (any/all are welcome). Info about it here:

"Smudger's Corner"....that's awesome....well, not really, but looking back at it now...yea.
