Tuesday 4/1 pre-meeting ride @ 5:30
Tuesday 4/1 pre-meeting ride @ 5:30
We're going to have a short ride leaving from the Bolton Street Tavern on Tuesday returning just in time for the meeting. We'll roll out promptly at 5:30 for about 25 miles, same guidelines as the WNR's from Stow plaza. Since there is no clear "best" route to or from BST during rush hour, right now the plan is to head up towards Stow/Bolton area.

In. (unless work gets in the way...)
Not to commandeer the ride, but I suggest a route like the one below. The best way to get away from the BST and avoid traffic is to get on the rail trail for a little while, then go into Berlin. IMO.

Note that there's a lot more stroller traffic on this rail trail than there was in Carslbad. I don't think an 11 man paceline at 20+ MPH is going to work.

To climb steep hills requires a slow pace at first.

It's only a mile on the rail trail. Better than a mile in rush hour through Hudson center.cbusick wrote:Note that there's a lot more stroller traffic on this rail trail than there was in Carslbad. I don't think an 11 man paceline at 20+ MPH is going to work.
Re: Tuesday 4/1 pre-meeting ride @ 5:30
I think we can exert a little self control and courtesy for that slower bit.
Extra credit: gonna do Doug's loop starting at 4 pm to make it a 2 lap 50 miler.

Re: Tuesday 4/1 pre-meeting ride @ 5:30 and 4pm?
So we'll test out two loops today, 4pm guys will start and do the Doug loop through Bolton. We'll regroup and go out again at 5:30 for a second loop through Stow.
I've never used this program before, but here you go for the second loop:

Ok so who's in for the extra credit ride starting at 4PM that's posted in this thread? I planning on making it for the 4PM but would hate to show up at the start to find out no one is there.
