Great Brooks Skiing

Post by remad » Sat Jan 18, 2020 6:58 pm

With the snow falling tonight, Great Brooks Ski Touring Center might be groomed. Is anyone interested in going tomorrow?
I will be keeping an eye on their facebook posts to see if they are open and groomed. https://www.greatbrookski.com/

I was there! Sorry I didn't see this until Sunday night. I did about 7 miles classic.

I was away. Let me know next time you are going. I skate ski and am happy to ski with skaters or classic alike!

We can keep an eye on the weather! Maybe the next good weekend we can get a few of us out there.
I would do skate ski, although I am fairly bad at it, it is always a blast and great winter cross training.

The last few winters have been a challenge.. seems like GB isn't open much. I think they managed one day this weekend, bare ground was already showing by 1 pm Sunday. Would you guys be up for driving up into NH for a day of XC skiing?
Weston ski track might be better for skating they have snowmaking.

Wish I could skate better, there's no way I would keep up doing classic vs. skating. Skating is way faster
