Stefan -- awesome job. Takes lots of guts on that course. Oh, and brains too. I've done the race many times and once sat in on the Gear Works team pre-race meeting in the Paul Curley/Tom Stevens hey day. Basically they said everyone tries to go left on that long false flat before the finish, but the wind is from the left. Like you, they felt the odds were that there would be an opening on the right. Nice job!!
